What we do

The interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research and development work carried out by the Center for Alpine Construction focuses on the current challenges facing Alpine and pre-Alpine regions, in particular resource- and energy-efficient, climate-adapted, and recyclable construction, and the reduction of land consumption. Our current cross-cutting theme is solutions for internal development, compactness, and energy efficiency in settlements.
