This combination can lead to undesirable temperature increases in the cold water, creating hygiene and energy-related challenges. The project investigates the thermal interactions within such shafts.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project Objectives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objective of the study is to analyze temperature changes in cold-water pipes when there is no water draw over an eight-hour period. To do so, different simulation scenarios were carried out, systematically varying parameters such as pipe arrangement, insulation materials, and exhaust air temperatures. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study provides robust data on temperature increases in cold water in combined installation shafts. It shows under which conditions critical threshold values such as 25\u00b0C are reached.
