Prototype: Energy Flexibility Tool for Building Clusters
The Center’s energy flexibility tool enables detailed analysis of buildings’ heat demand at a broad spatial scale. It supports municipalities and cities in assessing scenarios such as densification, renovations, and new development areas in order to identify energy-savings potential.
The tool provides a foundation for developing effective policy instruments to achieve climate targets and decarbonize the energy supply, and it can be flexibly adapted to specific needs.
Target groups
Energy suppliers, network operators, local authorities and municipalities, neighbourhood development
Services
Adaptation of the energy flexibility tool to the requirements and needs of municipalities and cities
Analysis of the heating load profile of municipalities for existing buildings and various scenarios, as well as potential analysis, identification of optimal solutions for the further development of energy supply, support in the development of effective policy instruments to achieve climate targets
Analysis of the heating load profile of municipalities for existing buildings and various scenarios, as well as potential analysis, identification of optimal solutions with a focus on anergy networks, support in the development of effective policy instruments to achieve climate targets
Support in the optimisation, further development and expansion of district heating and anergy networks through detailed, high-resolution simulations
