Background

The buildings sector accounts for around 38% of global CO₂ emissions. Energetic optimization, however, typically relies on outdated data and annual billing statements. MokiG addresses this need with intelligent, up-to-date monitoring that links and analyzes real consumption data, occupant behavior, and environmental influences.

Project Objective

MokiG aims to develop scalable tools for carbon-neutral buildings. Digital twins, a data mesh-based data space, and AI-enabled analyses support automated, user-centered optimization of energy consumption and emissions, without additional sensors or instrumentation.

Results

By the end of the project, deployment-ready solutions for buildings will be available. Building users and operators will receive concrete, actionable recommendations for reducing emissions. The project strengthens climate action, cost efficiency, and participation.
