Background
High-quality green spaces and vegetation structures play a central role in settlement development, climate change adaptation, and promoting biodiversity. Surveying the current stock of green spaces and vegetation creates an essential data foundation for reliably assessing the resilience and quality of settlement areas.
Project Objectives
The goal of the project was the comprehensive recording, analysis, and visualization of vegetated areas in the seven plan b municipalities of Bregenz, Hard, Lauterach, Lustenau, Kennelbach, Schwarzach, and Wolfurt. The resulting information on green spaces forms a central data and planning foundation for high-quality settlement development, especially with a view to densification, and can also serve as the basis for monitoring built on it.
Results
Cartographic overview of green spaces and vegetation structures as an important data foundation for high-quality settlement development and future monitoring.
