Research Contributions Toward Transferring the BONUS Consulting Service to the Municipality of Moosburg, Carinthia

The BONUS consulting service can help initiate both qualitative improvements and the creation of new living space within existing single-family and two-family homes. The consulting service goes beyond purely structural options such as reconfiguration or densification. It also integrates recommendations for energy-efficient retrofits, sustainable mobility, and the design and upgrading of green and open spaces.

Project Objectives

The goal was to successfully transfer the BONUS consulting service to the Municipality of Moosburg (Carinthia). To this end, the consulting service was presented in depth in a workshop, and local consultants were trained on site. It was then specifically adapted and further developed to meet the municipality’s requirements, enabling a tailored and effective implementation in Moosburg.

Results

The BONUS consulting service was implemented in the Municipality of Moosburg, and the municipality plans to continue it.
